Music, like rain, can bring cleansing and healing. “There Will Come Soft Rains” celebrates music’s power to refresh in a concert featuring the music of Heinrch Schütz, Charles Stanford, Lili Boulanger, Edward Elgar, Jocelyn Hagen, and Peter Relph.

Conductor Paul French describes Relph’s “Requiem” as “The most beautiful setting of the Requiem text I have heard in the past twenty-five years!” The 60-voice choir will be accompanied by pianist, Jodi French and a trio of guest instrumentalists.

Performances take place in the Southern Oregon University Music Recital Hall at 450 S. Mountain Avenue in Ashland. Order tickets here or by calling 541-552-0900.
