Executive Director

Kim Andresen is an accomplished executive leader with decades of experience in fundraising, advancement, community engagement, event management, performing arts, and customer service. Since July 1, 2025, she has served as Executive Director of the Southern Oregon Repertory Singers, where she leads strategic efforts to deepen community connections, expand audience engagement, and sustain artistic excellence.

Her distinguished career spans higher education and the nonprofit sector, where she has built a reputation for cultivating meaningful relationships, elevating the patron experience, and advancing institutional growth through thoughtful, missiondriven development. Kim has held key roles at Southern Oregon University, Oregon Graduate Institute, and Pacific University, where her work strengthened community partnerships and expanded philanthropic support.

Kim’s commitment to service is exemplified by her eight years with Special Olympics Oregon, where she transformed a modest fundraiser into a signature regional event, raising more than$100,000 to support athletes across the Rogue Valley and beyond. Her work reflects a deep belief in the power of inclusive communitybuilding and in expanding access to transformative experiences through the arts and civic engagement.

A native Oregonian, Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Pacific University and is an honors graduate of North Eugene High School. Her early experience as a Student Ambassador to the United States fostered a lifelong commitment to crosscultural understanding and meaningful human connection.

Music has been a constant thread throughout her life. She began piano at age five and cello at eight, and remained actively involved in choirs and orchestras through her college yearsexperiences that continue to inform her deep appreciation for the performing arts.

Having called the Rogue Valley home for more than two decades, Kim enjoys outdoor adventures with her family, including rafting, swimming, and hiking. She remains deeply dedicated to her community and is driven by a passion for building relationships, enriching the audience and donor experience, and creating lasting impact through the arts.
